Deep Organizational Experience

Rennie Saunders has extensive experience as a leadership coach, facilitator, trainer, and conflict management practitioner. She has provided these services to a wide range of organizational levels (entry to executive) and settings spanning the federal government (Central Intelligence Agency (CIA); National Geo-spatial Agency (NGA); Department of Human Services (DHS): Transportation Security Agency (TSA) and Cyber Intelligence Security Agency (CISA); Graduate School USA: Aspiring Leaders Program, Executive Potential Program, Executive Leadership Program; National Institutes of Health (NIH), etc.) to state, educational and religious institutions. She has also managed a complex administrative system and supervised personnel.

Coaching Beyond Conflict

Rennie thrives on working with clients to co-create a climate in which they are awakened to new possibilities, energized to move beyond limitations, and empowered to address challenges by taking specific, behavioral action. She specializes in partnering with clients to manage interpersonal conflict and diversity issues by exploring concepts such as emotional intelligence, communication competence, unconscious bias and problem-solving.

Her conflict management and diversity work with individuals and teams is informed by studies in George Mason University’s Masters Degree program, specialized mediation and diversity training and practice, participation in numerous coaching, dispute resolution, diversity and human interaction trainings and conferences, and experience teaching conflict management, diversity and related topics in numerous venues. She currently delivers the NeuroLeadership Institute’s Unconscious Bias curriculum.

A Gifted Trainer and Facilitator

Rennie has in-depth knowledge of leadership principles and best practices. She has served as an instructor/facilitator for over thirty years in various 5-day leadership courses at CIA, and has delivered training on performance management. In addition, she currently delivers TSA’s Fundamentals of Leadership curriculum.

Rennie holds a B.A. in Sociology (American University), a Juris Doctorate (Rutgers School of Law), and has earned credits towards a Master’s Degree in Conflict Resolution (George Mason University).

Rennie holds clearances at the TS/SCI level.
