As a Leadership and Life Coach, Grace works with individuals and organizations to develop the awareness, skills, and a path forward to close the gap between where they are and where they want to be. Grace partners with her clients to achieve their goals, influence more powerfully, and command their potential without leaving any part of themselves behind. Clients come to her with ideas, goals, and obstacles that they turn into forward momentum, results, and authentic confidence.

Grace often represented most of the age, ethnic, and intersectional diversity on her senior leadership teams, and struggled many times along the way to confidently own her voice and influence as the only woman, person of color, daughter of immigrants, millennial, mother, and/or neurodiverse person at the table. Grace now specializes in coaching those who experience being the “Only,” a trailblazer by choice or lack of representation, and the “Other,” an outsider whose belonging is questioned internally and/or externally. The “Only” and the “Other” face additional challenges, are held to a different standard than the rest, and their success comes at a greater cost or is never fully realized. Grace’s clients achieve their goals because of, not despite who they are.

In her personal life, Grace gains energy from spending time outdoors with her husband and two young children, playing pickleball, losing her voice at hockey games, creating and listening to music, and making, eating, and drinking creative concoctions with friends.

Leadership Expertise

Following several years of private sector experience, Grace joined the National Security Agency (NSA) where she quickly advanced into executive leadership positions as a GS-15. She served as a Chief of Staff for many of NSA’s most critical cyber operations organizations, such as Computer Network Operations, Defensive Network Operations, and Collection, Exploitation, and Cryptanalysis Operations, and led multi-team staffs with oversight of 1,000s+ global workforces, and managed complex, $20M+ budgets. Grace knows how to balance the people, structures, and mission to orchestrate meaningful and lasting change and has a deep understanding of the unprecedented challenges leaders face today.

After serving as an Executive Coach at NSA, she was asked by a Navy Program Office to create and manage their first internal coaching program. This rewarding experience inspired Grace to support a broader range of organizations in their efforts to evolve and support their workforces with their coaching programs. Grace left Federal service after 14 years to commit to this calling by launching her own coaching practice, With Grace, LLC, and also to create and serve as Executive Director of “Coaching for Community Leaders,” a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that exists to advance equity in access to the transformative impact of coaching for individuals and organizations serving marginalized communities.

In addition to Life, Leadership, and Team Coaching, Grace is also a go-to keynote speaker for monthly commemorations like AAPI History Month, Women’s History Month, International Stress Awareness Week, Mental Health Awareness Month, and to facilitate important workplace conversations like: Courageous Conversations about Race and Ethnicity, Overcoming Self-Doubt, and The Art of Giving and Receiving Feedback. She is relied upon as a leadership training facilitator and hosts team building, mission/vision/strategy, and creativity enhancing workshops.
