What You’ll Learn

Leading change can be hard. People are often wired to want to remain in their comfort zone and not transition into something new. Effective leaders know how to navigate change and lead others through it in a way that results in buy-in and acceptance of the new process, technology, or strategy.

This course will begin with the typical process people go through during a change process. This includes the emotional aspect of change, including how people’s emotions are impacted by change and how to process the emotions to build more buy-in and trust in the change process. This includes interactive activities as well as processes to understand how change works, and how to effectively move through the transition process both as an individual as well as a leader.

In addition to the typical change process the two-day version will include a model for how a leader can guide their organization through a change effort. This model for change will include how to lead a change effort through creating a vision, getting input into the process, bringing people along for the change, integrating feedback along the way and then celebrating quick wins.
